(PRE-REG MAX 30) Care, Calm, Create and Carry-On: Using Art as tool for Positive Mental Health
If you are struggling to make time to practice self-care, or you work with students who have a hard time connecting and expressing themselves, this session is for you. One of the biggest barriers to practicing self-care and building relationships is time. Kari and Rita have been presenting on bullet journaling, water color painting, connecting with students and strategies to foster connections for the last 4 years.

This session focuses on quick, simple projects and ideas that you can use to introduce art as self care into your personal routine or classroom. Projects may vary but will include: bullet journal tracking pages, painting polaroid's, daily doodles, zentangles and more. It is about enjoying the process and inspiring you to start small.

Supplies will be provided so that you can create some art and experiment to see what styles and projects work best for you. There will be a small participant fee to help offset the cost of supplies.
